Galatians 2:20

There's just not a whole lot of extra time in these wonderful days to sit down and blog, even though a lot stays on my heart that I would love to pin down, but I know that time will come. For now, I will cherish these days being consumed with loving on and being loved by two of the most precious little love muffins!

Words that say "true Love"...a song that I've been singing ever since I was introduced to it a few weeks ago at church.

When I think about the Lord,
How He saved me,
How He raised me
How He filled me with the Holy Ghost
How He healed me to the uttermost,
When I think about the Lord,
How He picked me up and turned me around,
How He placed my feet on solid ground,
It makes me wanna shout

Oh how blessed we are to have a special valentine addition this year!
We are crazy in love with these precious sisters!

Pondering all these things....

It's quiet.
I'm rocking Laine in her room.
No, not yet in my arms, but in my womb for the last night.
The last night that I get to know her sweet movements that no one else knows.
The last night that I get to have her all to myself before I have to share her with the world.
She is calm and still...just like my heart.
Because, YOU oh Lord are Supreme, King, Creator, Sustainer, Ruler over All things!
Psalm 1oo:3 says, "Know that the Lord, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of HIS PASTURE."
I rejoice tonight that You My Great Shepherd are already in the tomorrow. It is Your pasture that I am walking in, therefore You know everything about the "land" I'm journeying in.
And even though the land includes "shadow cast" valleys at times, I don't have to be afraid.
For you know it ALL!
You Orchestrate it ALL!
You Purpose it ALL!
You are in the next, Your Holiness, therefore your goodness is already there;
Therefore...I REST!
I rest that YOU have been Laine's birthday planner from the foundation!
I can't wait to attend...what a glorious day it will be!
My Mouth and Lips WILL declare Your praises!

My sweet sweet Lily, oh how I am thinking so much about you too tonight and missing you like crazy. You are with your Nonni and Papa tonight so mommy and daddy can rise early in the morning without you being disturbed. I want you to know how much I have cherished and treasure these last few nights we have had together as a family of 3! You bring so much life and joy to this family. I loved our one-on-one time of playing candy land and the fact that you drew the "cinnamon roll" card every time taking yourself straight to the top of the candy castle and leaving me in the dust. Watching your grins surpass your ears always warms my heart! Our family breakfast for dinner was such a sweet time around the table. We love how the syrup always makes you silly and crazy! You always bless us as you "belt" out to the Lord in thanksgiving. As we rallied around the Word that night, our story fell on the birth of our Savior. So beautiful and appropriate as we are preparing to celebrate Laine's birth. Your affection for her even while in the womb has been incredible! There's not a day that goes by that you don't say..."I love you Lainey!" I trust that her heart has felt every one of your tummy rubs and kisses. I have to say, our last night of putting you to bed was priceless as you stood at the foot of the bed singing as loud as you could, marching in a circle, and of course shaking your are soo funny! It also melts my heart to hear you say, "Sissy, I can't wait to meet you!" Well, guess what...tomorrow is the day.
I can hardly wait to see you walk in the room with your "big sister" shirt on, watch you your expression as you look at her for the first time, and hear you say her name!
We are beyond excited about you two girls...what beautiful gifts from our God!
