Galatians 2:20

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

A few days after Thanksgiving we made our treck back to my parents house in GA. Mom was so thoughtful to have her "halls" decked with Chrstmas so we could enjoy it the moment we walked in the door.

Our plan was to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas all in one since we wouldn't be able to travel back for Christams. We ended up exchaning all of our family Christmas presents only a month earlier than normal...November 27th! So mom was sweet to have everything in place and make it feel like it always has for the past 32 years...Thanks mom!

Here we are as a fam minus the spouses on our faux Christmas day! It was a Great one though, because Jesus is celebrated everyday of the year in our homes.

Simple, few, small = antonmys words when it comes to grandparents...right!

So what did her Nonni surprise her with, an actually rideable horse that sings, neighs, & moves his head. She was a little elated can you tell!

She didn't want to get off, so she even read her new books on top of the horse.

From one grandparents to the next! We left my parents that evening after doing our family Christmas and drove to Michael's parents for the week. The plantation...ahhh! Another peaceful place in the middle of God's creation. His parents live on 3 thousand acres of land. So would you say that Lily has a little bit of space to get out and run around on!

It does my heart so good to see her be able to live outside, roam, run, and play with all the animals her little heart desires.

Life on the plantation call for some girlie western wear! Everyday that we're there we have our routine to go see the horses and then all the bird dogs.

Lily is usually such an anti-shower girl, but after she discovered that her Ooo-Ooo's (granddaddy's) shower had a fun shower head that she could control, she willingly stripped right down and ran on in.

By the looks on her face, do you think she had a blast or what! Her squeals behind that smile were actually ear piercing.

I tried taking a few pics by opening up the shower door, but I was quickly met with a shower head pointed at my chest. So I opted for the safer way and snapped a few shots over the door!
