Bahama family Thanksgiving vacation!

We are truly thankful for the 2 weeks we've had to spend with family and friends over the Thanksgiving break. We are most grateful for the ONE who has given us the ultimate reason to be Thankful....His Son JESUS!
Here is a glimps of our family vacation to the Bahamas. My dad flies, so the fun started on the plane ride over as Miss Lily quickly got comfortable ruling the cabin and becoming little Miss co-pilot!

Indescrible!

This was the view from my parents condo that we were blessed to wake up to every morning....God you truly are indescrible, uncontaniable, you placed each grain of the sand on the beach and you know each one's place...you are an amazing God! (okay Jordan version)

Sandcastle time!

So fun to see your little one take in the beach for the first time! You always wonder how they are going to react to the sand...and here's the Lily verdict! Miss Lily and the sand were friends if she was sitting in it, but walking in it was a different story. Of course she had lots of little sand samplers and she also made her own sand hair gel!
Of course you can't go to the beach without building a sandcastle, but our creation never made it to the castle stage because Miss Lily had to much fun being a castle crasher!

Just call us the "lobster slayers"

Papason, Uncle Clint, Aunt Sarah, Michael and I took the boat out for 2 days. Let's just say we were successful in the seafood department!!!...so thanksgiving menu this year was lobster and grouper....yum to my tum! I actually speared my first lobster using a Hawaiian sling...I don't have the heart to kill a dear, but lobster just aren't as cute (and to know that they are known as "sea roaches" helps). The reefs we were diving on were absolutely beautiful along with all the different colored fish, caused my heart to worship the ONE who created it all for His Glory!

Check out these gorgeous starfish! Andi and Jamie, you remember these...right!

Hot-lanta visit!

On our way down to South GA for Thanksgiving, we stopped through Suwanee to soak up some fellowship with some of our most precious friends! What an extra special visit it was! Since last June four friends have been doing some serious "booty praying" for our dear friend Lindy! We have been mailing a pair of baby booties back and forth, praying over them believing in faith that the Lord could open her womb and bless them with a child, despite the medical things that were against them. It was only a few months later she announced that she was PREGNANT...Oh, only GOD!!! The verse that immediately came to mind was, "Is there anything to difficult for the Lord." Praise God that despite man's ways, and our fallen bodies...HE sits on His Throne and is Lord over ALL! Our souls rejoice over this miraculous gift of life!
This trip was my first time getting to wrap my arms around her neck and rub that sweet BOY baby bump. We celebrated with a cake that one of my friends in NC made. Peanut was the baby's temporary name until they found out what they were having this past Tuesday.

This is also a little plug for my friend Jenny who makes amazing cakes, cupcakes, and other sweets for all occasions. She made Lily's cupcakes for her 1st b-day and they were delish! Her # is 336-529-0682.

Beautiful Hot Mama Lindy with that prego glow!
