Good Morning Lily!!!

We love the energy (oh, and lots of it) and the excitement the Lord has given Lily for life. The blessings of the Lord are sooo abundant through her...what Joy she brings. Morning wake-ups are always our favorite simply because she is too stinkin cute all groggy with her bedhead self, but also the joy of getting to wrap our arms around her for the first time that day. Here is one of her morning wakes up where she had A LOT to say...too cute and funny not to share!

DC Trip!

I seem to stay behind in blogging these days. One of the set backs is simply the time it takes for the pictures to download and trying to find the time to do it...well, problemo solved! I just learned how to use Picassa and blog from there...amazing the time it saves. I definitely feel like I was doing things the dinasour way before. The only problem I"m having is it will only allow me to upload 4 pictures per post. I don't know if this is just the way it works or if I'm not doing something right...any Picassa users out there with some suggestions?
We just got back from DC. Michael went to attend the Weekender (which is four days of pastoral mentoring) under Mark Dever at Capitol Hill Bapt. He stayed in one of the elders homes for the week while the Lewis ladies stayed with dear friends who just moved up to DC to church plant. These are a few pictures of Me, Page, Andi, & the kiddos around the Capitol. We would laugh as we walked around, b/c we seriously looked like we were in a baby parade! Thanks for the sweet fellowship girls and for spoiling us...we love you!

While we were there a team from North Wake church in WF came up to help out with the church plant. They passed out flyers about the church and engaged in conversations about the Lord with the people on the streets. Pray for the start of Restoration Church as they reach the Nations with the gospel in DC.

All the site seeing and city life = one pooped girl!

One day we took the kids to a park not far from where the Knight's and Crafts live. It was soo cool, they had toys everywhere. I snapped a few pictures of Lily playing.

Judah man was definitely out numbered by all the girls, but I think he's getting used to being a ladies man!

A night out with friends!

We went out with a few families for Mexican. There is a fountain outside which the kiddos always quickly gravitate to. It's always fun to watch their excitement, but a job to keep them from becoming a swimmer!

Williamsburg!

We took a trip to Surry,VA to visit our friends Josh, Tracy, and Miss Addison. Josh is on staff at a church there in Surry. They are only a Ferry ride away from Williamsburg so went spent one of our days site seeing. What a cool place and loaded with history. I think the highlight of the weekend was the ferry ride for Miss Lily. They have started a tradition to feed the seaguls off the back of the boat. Let's just say I've never seen so many seaguls in all my life and Lily was beside herself. I could hardly hold her with all her leg kicking...so excited!

Fellowship with friends!

Our dear friends came over for dinner. Lily has literally grown up with their daughter and just adores her. It's so fun now that Lily is at the stage where she is interacting and playing with other kiddos. We decided to throw the two of them in the tub together...Lily's first bathtub buddy! Aren't they cutie patooties as "towel heads" together!
