Weekend Fun!

I'm playing weekend catch-up! We've been super blessed to have a lot of company in the past few weeks... visits from friends and family we dearly love! These are some combined pictures from the past two weekends in no special order.

I'll start with the beautiful birthday girls! My dearest Atlanta sistas came up to visit along with their hubby's and Miss Brooklyn. These girls always bless my socks off! We always manage to do everything girls do best...talk,talk, talk, shop, and lots of eating. Our time together is always so refreshing and "iron sharpening"to be able to hear and share the goodness of our Lord togehter in how He is constantly moving, shaping, and growing each of us in our relationship with Him. I love you my Fearfully and Wonderfully made friends!

Lily was so excited to have her Brooklyn friend up for the weekend too!

On Sunday, April 28th our dear friends Lindsey and JR Isham celebrated their son's arrival...Happy Birthday Griffin! We were able to meet his handsome self the very next day. I have to say, he is one of the most beautiful little baby boy's I've ever seen...just look at that cutie!

This past Saturday, WF held their annual "Meet in the Street" festival downtown. There were lots of craft booths, entertainment, food, and a whole side street with activities just for the kiddos. We made it a girls day and went with our friends Dawne, Charis, and Selah.

This is the first time Lily has ever been around an abundance of animals, b/c our apartment complex doesn't allow them. There were tons of dogs there, and I have never seen her get so excited! Lily was constantly scoping out the crowd in search for dogs. As soon as one was spotted her little legs and arms immediately went into convolutions and wouldn't stop until she could pet it. Let's just say we made friends with a lot of dogs and owners that day!
BUT...the true highlight were the ponies! There were two ponies at a booth representing an animal shelter. Okay, so on top of the arm and leg convolutions earlier... add a very high pitched squeal causing her face to turn red! There were times that she became the "attraction" over the ponies...so very funny! What a fun first zoo visit it's going to be!
In the middle of one of her shrills! Or I guess you could say she's expressing her excitement...opera style!
Can you tell the ponies never left her sight.
Lily loves being outside and could probably sit in the grass all day. I'm a grass girl too, well thick grass that is. I love walking barefooted in thick grass. Why thick? Well, one of my biggest pet peeves is dirty feet...mine, yours, whoevers. If the grass if really thick it protects my feet from the dirt below and secondly thick grass seems to be cooler and I just like that refreshing feel on my feet.
Lily likes to "mow" the grass one section at a time while she's sitting in it! I have to constantly keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't turn the grass into her own personal chef salad!

Lily's new bath trick is to try to "catch" the water. Bath time used to be fun, but now it's Exciting and she lets you know it with all those squeals! She's makes us laugh and is soo stinkin fun!
