Miss Piggie!

Okay, before tonight I would have said Lily's favorite baby food hands down was sweet peas, but after eating tonight she has proven to have a new favorite...sweet potatoes! I didn't think she would eat a lot b/c she is battling a cold and has had such a hard time drinking her bottle since her "sniffer" doesn't work, but Miss Piggie managed and ate more than she ever has...a whole container of 2nd baby food! I don't think she's ever gone to bed this stuffed. I'm hoping this will gain me a little extra shut eye in the morning!

Here's the proof!

Play date!

Today my friend Heather and her precious Karis came over for a play date. We took the girls to the playground to swing since it was such a beautiful day. Can you believe that my little Lily is big enough to swing...look at her sweet self! And boy were those little legs going 90 to nothing...she was so excited! Look at that dumplin! I could just squeeze her!
This picture cracks me up! Since the swing swallowed Lily, we decided to try and double the girls up. There was just enough room for Karis to squeeze her little self in there. Check out Karis' expression as she is straining to look at Lily. Can't you hear her saying, "Hey, when I get in you're supposed to get out....what are still doing in here?" Poor Lily, she's like I don' know take that up with my mom, she's the one who left me here!Sweet girls!

Sweet Neighbors!

What a blessing our neighbors are! They are a precious family of 7 who have become so dear to us. In a few months they will be going back overseas to share the Love and Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with people who have never heard the gospel. Please pray for them as they walk in obedience to serve Him.

They invited us over for dinner Friday night and we had an incredible time of fellowship. They have 5 amazing children, so anytime we go over there Lily never lacks attention...she loves it! Here is a picture of all the kiddos and their family!

Jumping for Joy!

Our livingroom has been renamed to "Lily land!" Especially after the new addition...the jumparoo! She loves it, but I think she loves watching her daddy jump along with her more...he's soo funny!

Playing!

Mirror Mirror on my play toy...who's that cutie patootie looking at me!?

Lily's excitement level goes up a notch anytime I lay her down on her changing table... I tell ya the girl is all about some stripping! She is just too funny. I think her most anticipated times during the day are bath time and getting ready for bed, b/c that means the clothes are coming off! The "icing on the cake" for her is when that last sock is snatched off her foot, because that means she gets to turn into our little taco toe eating girl!

Check out those hams...love them! She is definitely turning into a little chunky monkey!

Check out that gummy smile! We call her our toothless turtle. It just hit me that I need to capture some good closeups of those gums b/c teeth are on the horizon!

WARNING!!!

Beware! There is a 27 1/4 inch brown hair, blue eyed 6 month old on the loose. She was last seen wearing a black outfit and is potentially dangerous! She is know to be a "Cereal" killer!

Okay, I am laughing hysterically b/c if any of you know my dad this is his "warped" sense of humor...love you dad!

My mom and dad went to Las Vegas over the summer and dad brought Lily back this beautiful outfit! She was 3 months when he bought it, but the outfit is 6-9 month. He has been asking ever since, "has Lily worn her outfit yet?" She is just now old enough! So here she is Papa...your little "cereal" killer...too funny!

Friends!

Lily and I love to visit our sweet friends Tracy and her sweet baby girl Addison...isn't she a doll? Addison is only 2 months and I think Lily literally thinks she is a doll. Here she is attacking her out of so much excitment, giving some sugars, and finally being a sweet friend...cheese!

6 Month Check-up!

We are so thankful to the Lord for graciously blessing Lily with such great health! We could eat up ever 27 1/4 inch of her 15.12 lb. self with a big ole spoon! The nurse just laughed at my paparazzi self, but I told her it was all for the grandparents!

Here she is being weighed. She is in the 50% in weight. As you can see I tried keeping her "groceries" out of the picture.

Here is our looonnnggg Lily Lew. She is in the 90% in height.

Our happy girl in the doctor's office before she knew what was coming...shots!!! I never understood when mom would say, "This is going to hurt me worse then you," but now I do! I'm definitely the bigger baby! Okay, my million dollar idea...make a mold of a baby's foot! Don't you think it would be the hottest toy on the market. Oh my goodness, if Lily didn't have feet, I don't know what she would play with. She definitely prefers her toes over her fingers any day. :)
Just love this close up of her!

Happy Valentines!

I'm laughing, because if I wasn't so technologically challenged, we would have been wishing you a Happy Valentines last year on our blog, but the whole start up process just royally confused me! But yeah!!! Here we are a year later! I'm so thankful for sweet friends and sisters in the Lord who are a whole lot smarter in the computer department than I am. Thanks Lindsey for the Bloggers 101 crash course! Because so many of our dear friends and family are so far away, we thought this would be a fun way to keep up with our family adventure!

The pictures above are from our suprsie Valentine photo shoot for Michael. Can't wait to suprise him with these pictures of his girls! We love being sneaky and suprsies at that...so much fun!

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever!" Psalm 136:1
